Tech Workforce Program
Be a Tech Workforce Program MENTOR
Youth and Family Development is excited to provide The Tech Workforce Program (TWP) in partnership Tech Town. It's an opportunity for adults, primarily ages 17-50, to acquire the basic hands-on and experimental skills vital to the local workforce demands. This 7 week Learning Program aims to provide underemployed or unemployed adults with 21st- century technology/coding skills needed for better employment in the fast growing technology sector.
All classes are free for applicants who are selected, with a commitment of 9 hours per week. Classes tentatively will begin late February 2017. Classes will be held on Tuesdays, Thursdays from 6pm-9pm at the South s2m2 YFD and Brainerd YFD locations and Saturdays at Tech Town from 11am-2pm. Attendance for all classes is mandatory with childcare meals and transportation available.
