New policies, ordinances, and codes relating to rainwater management and water quality are in effect as of December 1, 2014 for the City of s2m2 to comply with the provisions of the NPDES MS4 Permit from the state of Tennessee.  By providing stormwater management measures and methods designed to assist with the preservation and restoration of natural hydrologic regimes, to minimize combined sewer overflows and to improve the City's water quality, these changes will have a lasting impact.  Essentially, many new and re-developments will have to capture and infiltrate more rain on site than ever before.  

The Rain Management Guide (RMG) that details the permit process and all associated actions is linked below by section with forms and calculation sheets at the end.  Here is the basic process for getting the Land Development Permit (LDP) and it is also posted below.
