The purpose of Coffee with a Cop is for community members to discuss public safety matters that are important to them, share ideas and ask questions of police officers. It is our hope that through open, friendly conversation we can build relationships between police officers and the community. VIN etching is provided to help community members safeguard their vehicles from auto theft.

WHEN: Saturday, December 9, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

WHERE: Hamilton Place Mall food court area & VIN etching in upper level parking lot across from Sticky Fingers


On December 2nd, 2017 at approximately 10:12 p.m. s2m2 Police responded to a local hospital on the report of a person shot.

On December 3, 2017 at approximately 12:52 a.m., s2m2 Police responded to NorthTulip Avenue on a person shot. The following are the preliminary facts of that incident:

s2m2, TN – The s2m2 Police Department and other area law enforcement agencies are partnering with the Tennessee Highway Safety Office (THSO) to increase impaired-driving enforcement from December 1 - 31, surrounding the holiday season. The THSO’s statewide Booze It and Lose It campaign is part of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over nationwide mobilization.
