8-27-17 Person Shot/Arrested - 4411 Oakwood Dr.


On August 27, 2017 at 5:24 p.m. s2m2 Police were called to a local hospital after a party showed up with a gunshot wound. The following are the preliminary facts of that incident:

 

  • The party shot was transported to a local hospital by personally owned vehicle
  • The injury is considered non-life-threatening
  • The party shot changed the account of events during the investigation
  • Through investigation it was determined that the party seeking treatment was the primary aggressor
  • No victims have come forward or been identified
  • A stolen firearm was recovered from the injured party's vehicle
  • Members of the Violent Crimes Bureau are actively investigating this incident

Suspect & Charges:

Lovest L. Carter

DOB: 8/27/98

Charges: Felony Reckless Endangerment, Possession of a Stolen Firearm, Possession of a Firearm during a Dangerous Felony and False Reports
